    Do you ever get the feeling you have bad breath? I sure do. But dogs never know and humans are the victims of this crime. Pedigree Dentastix advertisement for minty treats for dogs is one way they direct peoples attention towards the situation.
    This ad also focuses on being humorous toward this common problem. The humor of this ad is in the facial feature of the dog with wide eyes and tongue stuck out. Also the bird, looking dead and out of breath, adds another small humorous touch. Awkward is another word that describes this advertisement. The bird with the dog is not really what you would think to be put together in an ad like this. To me, the ad would have would have been more like a cat and a bird but not a dog and a bird. The simpleness is very unique to this ad. For most ads, you would see more props or people in the image, but all there is is just a bird in a cage, a dog, and the product and a saying. This is very simple to me. Having a humorous tone, the writer wrote this ad to promote the "Dentastix" to dog owners whose pet has bad breath. The ad persuades the readers to buy the product for thier benefit and for their pet's benefit. The ad helps the reader realize that this might solve their problem.
    Pedigree's "Dentastix" did a commedable job of advertising. They put humor, uniqueness, and simpleness into one picture to promote their product.
